The Media Relations Manager is responsible for planning and implementing all media relations activity for this growing financial services organisation.  The position will require the management of a media relations team that operates on a "account" basis to deliver proactive and reactive PR.  This position is seen as essential for the group to raise it's profile with both the financial and consumer watchdog publications.

Responsibilities will include:

• Motivating and coaching the media team to drive excellence in media relations and PR delivery
• Set the annual strategy including key priorities in raising profile and implement KPIs for their measurement
• Implement external media plans to maximise impact
• Identify key issues that impact reputation and create media campaigns to counteract or promote accordingly
• Stakeholder management and communications activity

You will be graduate calibre media relations professional who has operated at a senior level with both people and budget management.
