Description

 

This financial services organisation has a particularly strong following amongst its target audience.  It is now looking to capitalise on the change in the economic landscape and like a number of Mutual’s is now looking to grow market share through developing the product portfolio and channels to market.

The Interim Direct Marketing Manager will report directly into the Head of Marketing and take responsibility for shaping marketing activity through the direct channel. Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing the direct marketing plan for customer acquisition, retention and cross sell activity in line with the overall marketing strategy (owned by the Head of Marketing
  • Meet the already set customer targets and look to improve on multi-channel direct marketing activity
  • Managing and delivering key projects for the business
  • Defining and developing consistent messages for content for both online and offline activity
  • Work with the data management teams to identify the most profitable customer segments, tailoring products and campaigns accordingly
  • Reduce the customer acquisition costs through exploring new technology and trailing creative marketing concepts
  • Ensuring that all campaigns meet the legal and compliance requirements (including Data Protection)
  • Analysing campaigns and making recommendations to improve on success rates

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Experience required

 

This position would suit an accomplished interim manager who has worked in direct marketing or campaign management.  You will be challenged in this position by having autonomy to make recommendations to the direct marketing calendar and be influential to gain credibility and buy in at Board Level.
