In addition you will build relationships with national & regional media and establish proactive opportunities for media coverage for the business. You will therefore have a good knowledge of dealing with the media and be comfortable in a spokesperson capacity.
This opportunity would ideally suit an experienced PR professional, perhaps with a journalistic background. Someone who thrives when working under pressure and is not fazed by difficult situations would definitely make the grade.
