A great opportunity has arisen for a Junior Market Analyst in this leading organisation. As part of a larger Marketing department, you will support the Insights team through regular monitoring and analysis of the market, evaluating competitor activities and helping identify trends in the marketplace.
You will filter market intelligence for presentation to the management team, sales & product managers and the marketing communications team – gathering robust statistical & market information that will influence development plans.

Key responsibilities include:
- Gathering and analysing information through published sources & market contacts to evaluate market sectors
- Co-ordinating & reporting of statistical findings back in to the business
- Evaluate market research requirements across the marketing team
- Assisting Product Managers in the compilation of annual product audits
- Analysis of competitor product offerings
- Assist the Marketing Communications team by providing market information that will assist in creation of future materials
This role is vital to providing relevant information in to the business that will ensure they continue to operate profitably, competitively and meet sales target. You will possess an enthusiasm for market intelligence and excellent analytical skills.
You will also be a strong communicator and be able to self-motivate in order to achieve set goals. Educated to degree level – ideally in a relevant marketing/business subject, or maths/economics. A strong knowledge of Excel is important and data processing software would be beneficial.
